Autumn Photoshoot

This is a throwback post to a few years ago when I photographed this fun group of girls (a mother and her 3 daughters), but forgot to publish on the blog. This was about 2 years ago and I remember the girls were so much fun to work with - we had such a great time! This was when I was first starting out with photography and I tagged along with my friend Susan who was taking photos for this wonderful family.

2014 - "This past weekend I had the wonderful opportunity to tag along with one of my good friends Susan from Chellie D Photography for a family photoshoot. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the girls were so much fun to be around and made the shoot anything but boring. This was one of the most entertaining and enjoyable photo sessions that I've done so far thanks to the awesome participants. And let's be real... these girls couldn't take a bad picture if they tried. Thank you Susan for letting me tag along and thanks to Chelsea, Abby, & Molly and of course their wonderful mom for letting me be a part of your shoot!"

Donahue Girls Photoshoot

Last week I got to spend the evening with two beautiful girls and their sweet mom shooting with a gorgeous Colorado sunset backdrop behind us. Although it was a little chilly, we managed to stay out for about an hour, which means that I may have taken over 200 photos.... But to be fair, these girls are beautiful so it was difficult not to just keep going. There were so many great photos that it was hard to choose which ones to put up on the blog, but these are just a few of my favorites. These girls are seriously so stunning, inside and out, and I think the photos turned out really well. Of course, it's always helpful when your models are so sweet and beautiful :)

Winter Sunset Shoot

Although it's not my favorite season in Colorado, the weather has been fairly mild lately, in fact, I'm going to go as far as saying it's been an amazing 60-70 degrees and sunny. So my friend Kyle and I decided to do a photoshoot with his son Ryder, taking advantage of this lovely "Spring" weather. This kid is super photogenic and pretty cooperative with taking pictures despite not having had a nap the entire day- for all of you parents reading this, I'm sure you understand the fact that he was happy the entire time is a massive feat. Let's just say I was thoroughly impressed and very excited with how the photos turned out.

The Atchley Family

Last week I had the privilege of spending the day with half of the Atchley family! We couldn't have asked for more beautiful Colorado Autumn weather and spent the day playing in the leaves, having a picnic and running around the park. There are so many adorable photos that it was extremely difficult to choose which ones to put up, but I absolutely LOVE these ones! I seriously cannot handle all of this cuteness!!

Cam & Lisa's Southern California Wedding

Let me tell you how the weather for this wedding could not have been better. Yes, it was a mere 95 degrees for the first hour or so, but that meant it was perfect temperatures for the duration of the evening. And the previous weekend it had rained non-stop, so let's just say, it was an ideal day for a November wedding. Because I was in the wedding (and I'm so glad I was able to be a part of this incredible day), I didn't take pictures of the beautiful bride walking up or down the aisle, but I did  snap some precious photos of the first dances. The bridesmaid dresses, the venue, the photo booth, the candy table, and the picturesque lights above the outdoor dance floor made for nothing less than 8 hours of Pinterest-worthy and truly memorable moments. Cam and Lisa, thank you for not only including me in your wedding, but letting me spend this wonderful day with you!! Congratulations to you both <3

Ryan & Amy: Autumn Wedding in Phoenix

Two weeks ago, I was lucky enough to get away from the cool, rainy weather of Colorado and bask in the hot, sunny days that are partial to Phoenix year round... even if it was only for a weekend. I was not only excited to see my beautiful cousin, but to meet her now-hubby and spend time with lots of family that I hadn't seen in years. This wedding, much in part to my cousin's time, effort, creativity, and the gorgeous view made this beautiful celebration truly Pinterest-worthy. Congratulations Amy & Ryan!!
